Welcome to Roaming Wild Adventures, a brand of Roam Wild LLC ("RWA," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the RWA website (www.rewireinthewild.com) or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or purchase our products.

2. Assumption of Risk and Outdoor Activity Disclaimer

Nature of Products and Activities

Roaming Wild Adventures products—including the MicroExperience Cards, Companion Journal, workshops, and social media content—guide users in outdoor photography and nature-based creative practices. By purchasing, using, or engaging with our products and services, you acknowledge that these activities take place in natural outdoor environments and involve inherent and unpredictable risks.

Voluntary Assumption of All Risks

You expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree that:

Outdoor activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to:

  • Uneven, slippery, or unstable terrain

  • Adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, lightning)

  • Wildlife encounters

  • Insect bites or stings

  • Falling, tripping, or other physical injuries

  • Getting lost or disoriented

  • Exposure to natural elements and environmental hazards

  • Risks associated with remote locations and limited access to emergency services

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor activities undertaken while using our products and services, whether those risks are known, unknown, obvious, or unforeseen.

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Assessing the safety and suitability of any location you choose for your practice

  • Knowing your own physical limitations and health conditions

  • Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear

  • Bringing necessary safety equipment, water, and supplies

  • Checking weather conditions before going outdoors

  • Informing others of your location and expected return time

  • Discontinuing activity immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any concerning symptoms

Location selection is your responsibility. We do not inspect, approve, or guarantee the safety of any location. References to "parks," "trails," "forests," "backyards," or other outdoor spaces are general suggestions only—you must evaluate each specific location for hazards and suitability.

Not Medical, Therapeutic, or Professional Advice

RWA products and services are designed for educational, recreational, and creative purposes only. They are NOT intended to:

  • Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition

  • Serve as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care

  • Provide medical, mental health, or professional counseling services

Founder Credentials: Nichole Vild is a photographer, educator, and retired Army officer. She is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, medical doctor, neuroscientist, or healthcare provider.

Research-Informed, Not Clinical: Our methodology is inspired by peer-reviewed research in neuroplasticity, attention training, and nature-based practices. However, our products are not clinical interventions, and we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.

Individual Results Vary: While our practices are designed to support cognitive flexibility, creative confidence, and awareness—outcomes commonly associated with attention-based practices in research literature—individual experiences and results will vary.

Consult Healthcare Professionals: If you have any medical conditions, physical limitations, mental health concerns, or are taking medications, consult qualified healthcare professionals before engaging in outdoor activities or attention-based practices. If you experience physical or psychological distress while using our products, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate professional care.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Roaming Wild Adventures, Roam Wild LLC, Nichole Vild, and any affiliated entities, employees, contractors, instructors, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

  • Any injury, illness, death, or property damage sustained while using our products or services

  • Your choice to engage in outdoor activities based on our prompts, instructions, or suggestions

  • Any location you choose for your practice

  • Your reliance on any content, information, or materials provided

You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless RWA from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of products and services

  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions

  • Your violation of any rights of another party

  • Your negligent or intentional conduct

Safety Recommendations

  • While you assume all risks, we strongly recommend:

  • Never practice alone in remote or unfamiliar locations

  • Inform someone of your location and expected return time

  • Carry a charged mobile phone for emergencies

  • Bring adequate water, sun protection, and weather-appropriate clothing

  • Be aware of wildlife and seasonal hazards in your area

  • Respect posted warnings, closures, and private property boundaries

  • Use common sense and prioritize your safety above completing any prompt

Modification of Activities

You have the right and responsibility to modify, adapt, or decline any suggested activity based on your own assessment of safety, physical ability, and comfort level. No activity is mandatory. Listen to your body and prioritize your safety.

Minor Participants (Ages 14-17)

Our products are suitable for ages 14 and older. However, participants under the age of 18 require parental or legal guardian consent and supervision.

For purchases and use by minors (ages 14-17), a parent or legal guardian must:

  • Review and accept these Terms and Conditions on the minor's behalf

  • Acknowledge and assume all risks outlined in this Assumption of Risk and Outdoor Activity Disclaimer

  • Provide appropriate supervision during outdoor activities based on the minor's age, maturity, and skill level

  • Assess the safety and suitability of all locations

  • Ensure the minor has necessary safety equipment, communication devices, and supplies

  • Make all decisions regarding the minor's participation in any activity

By purchasing products marked as suitable for ages 14+, the adult purchaser represents that they:

  • Are the parent or legal guardian of any minor who will use the products, OR

  • Have obtained express permission from the minor's parent or legal guardian

  • Parental Supervision Required: We strongly recommend that minors ages 14-17 engage in outdoor photography activities with adult supervision or with clear communication protocols in place. Parents/guardians should evaluate each activity for age-appropriateness and safety.

For Workshop Participation: Minors (under 18) who wish to attend workshops must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or have a parent/guardian sign a separate, more detailed Minor Participant Waiver before participation is confirmed.

3. Products and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in US dollars.

  • We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

  • Product availability is not guaranteed. In the event an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a refund or waitlist option.

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes. Minor variations in color or appearance may occur.

4. Orders and Payment

  • An order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.

  • Payment is processed securely through Squarespace. We do not store your payment card details.

  • By placing an order, you represent that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

5. Shipping

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before you complete your order. Free shipping may be offered as part of select promotions.

  • Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon handoff to the carrier.

  • If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we will work to resolve it.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Satisfaction Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the full policy on our website for details.

7. Discount Codes and Promotions

  • Discount codes apply to eligible products as specified in the promotion. Not all products may be eligible for every promotion.

  • Only one discount code may be applied per order. Codes are not stackable.

  • Codes are non-transferable and have no cash value.

  • RWA reserves the right to expire, modify, or discontinue any promotion at any time without notice.

  • Misuse or unauthorized sharing of private codes may result in the code being deactivated.

8. Workshops and Events

This section will cover workshop registration, deposits, cancellation and refund policy, weather and force majeure, participant conduct, liability and assumption of risk, and any health or fitness requirements. This section will be finalized and reviewed before RWA accepts any workshop registrations or deposits.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the RWA website — including text, photography, graphics, product designs, methodology, and branding — is the property of Roaming Wild Adventures and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • The trademarks "Roaming Wild Adventures" and "Rewire in the Wild" may not be used without prior written permission.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written consent.

10. User Conduct

When interacting with our website, email communications, or social channels, you agree not to:

  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior

  • Misuse discount codes or promotions

  • Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access

  • Post or share content that is defamatory, harassing, or unlawful

11. Limitation of Liability

  • RWA products are provided for personal use and creative practice. Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed.

  • As outlined in Section 2 (Assumption of Risk and Outdoor Activity Disclaimer), you assume all risks associated with outdoor activities when using our products.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, RWA's total liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question, or $100, whichever is less.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, lost profits, or emotional distress.

  • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tennessee, USA.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
